At our Nissan dealership in Boston, we strive to make the process of buying a car as pain-free and enjoyable for our customers as possible. But not all Nissan dealerships in Boston have the same mission. At Coastal Nissan, we even make it possible to do most of your dealership shopping online with our internet specials and online shopping tools. If you feel the need to shop in person, there are things you can do if things go wrong:
Listen to Your Intuition – if you’re shopping for a Nissan and something doesn’t “feel right”, you should listen to that intuition. If the experience is making you uncomfortable, there’s probably a reason why even if you are unable to put your finger on the exact reason.
Leave the Dealership – if you’re being mistreated in any way at the dealership, you do not have an obligation to stay there. Walk away (and come to Coastal Nissan where you will not be mistreated). If there is a car at a particular dealership that is priced right, but the salesman was rubbing you the wrong way – go home and try their internet department, or return to the dealership later to talk with a different salesperson. You can also simply ask for a new salesperson at the dealership for any reason – but if after talking to the second person you discover they all work from the same “script” or type of customer service – it may be time to walk away completely.
Finally, you can avoid all of the above situations simply by starting your Nissan shopping at Coastal Nissan versus other Nissan dealerships in Boston!
